Prior to joining NDSM, Patrick served as Principal of Maternity BVM School and as an Assistant Principal and middle school science teacher at St. Gall School in Chicago. Both schools are Catholic and serve low-income, Latino students. As a school principal in Chicago, Patrick increased enrollment by 70% over two years, launched a preschool and implemented a new math and science curriculum in addition to creating an after school enrichment program. Patrick participated in the Inner City Teaching Corp, Accelerate Institute, and the Archdiocese of Chicago New Leader Academy. A Milwaukee native, Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University, a Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Northwestern University and Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Before Patrick moved into the President role at NDSM, he served the school as Head Principal for two years.
